Calling all Patriots and supporters of a Limited, Constitutional Government.

Melissa needs your help. As most of you know, our co-founder Melissa Pehle-Hill has decided to run for Texas State Representative here in District 4. For her to successfully make this bid, she needs your financial support. We fully understand the difficulty many of us are having with the current economy but at the same time, we must recognize that the economic problems will not be fixed with our current group of elected officials. One of the biggest problems a new candidate faces is overcoming the incumbents well stocked treasure chest that was filled by special interest lobbyist and others who like the way things are at the State and Federal level.

For those of you who have followed us here at Make-A-Statement, you have heard us say on our Radio Shows and in our writing that real change can only occur if it starts at the bottom and works its way up the ladder to DC. When no one stepped up to run against Representative Betty Brown, Melissa decided to practice what she preached and entered the race. You might ask if Melissa really wants to be a politician. The answer to that is no. Melissa would rather be at home with me and the kids but we all believe that she can make a difference if she is elected by injecting some Constitutionality and common sense back into the decision making process in Austin.

I can not express the importance of supporting true conservative candidates across the nation even if they do not directly represent you. Keep in mind that the more real conservative voices we have in public office, the quicker we will be able to take our States back from out of control government and in turn we will be able to restore a true Constitutional Government in Washington DC.
